Physics Personal Statement Example
« on: March 14, 2014, 07:42:47 AM »
If you are interested in working in a Physics environment then you could be looking at a career as a: Medical physicist, in a research role (physical sciences), as a Lab technician or as a Lecturer or School Teacher. There are numerous roles within the physics industry and of course you don’t have to go into a physics related role, you could be in a business and or finance role using the skills associated with physics.

If you are good at physics then you will be good with working things out and problems solving, you will be good at analysing and working with figures, as well as being a practical person. Employers will be looking at both your Educational skills in physics if it is a physics related role you want to be in and also your key qualities and attributes not related to education.

If you are looking to write a personal statement for an application of employment, please see the below.

Physics Personal Statement Example

An experienced Physics graduate is looking to utilise skills gained from my degree in Physics from (what university, grade and when). I am keen to progress my skills and would like to do research in a laboratory and put my skills to good use.

I am a confident worker who has excellent skills in research and analytical work and is looking to use the information and skills that I have learnt. My communication skills are good and I am able to show people and communicate technical information clearly.

I learn new skills quickly and feel that I have a good technical mind and ability to be successful in my role and career choice. I am able to solve problems and work things out and I feel that I have an inquisitive mind that allows me to concentrate on working issues out.

Good luck.
