« on: April 08, 2014, 11:14:33 AM »
If you are a Computer Science graduate then you will be a techy interested in computers and how they work. As a Computer Science professional you could work in a number of IT related roles for a company such as IT Manager, Systems Manager, project manager etc depending on your skills and experiences.

You will be able to explain how a system works to non technical clients and help new clients with new ideas of how best their business can operate with new products etc or you could be helping a company directly and be responsible for their IT operation, developing it to suit the needs of the business.

Once qualified in computing it is usual for professionals to specialise in different areas according to their area of specialism. If you are looking for an example of a personal statement then please see below for an example which you can use as a guide.

Computer Science Personal Statement Example

I am a technical and professional Computer Science graduate who has always had a passion for working in IT and understanding how things in IT work for the better of companies using IT equipment. I like to keep up to date with new products and ever changing systems.

I enjoy new challenges and working in fast moving environments which is suited to IT. I have excellent communication skills and I am able to present information to clients and colleagues that need to have some understanding. I have also provided training to various departments to help them get to know a new system or simply a refresher course.

I am a dedicated and thorough person with excellent technical skills and a technical mind and I am keen to develop a career using my computer science degree and my experience gained to date and eager to learn new things to help my employer and myself.
