If you are interested in Chemistry and keen to progress your career with Chemistry then you could be a Scientist, a Chemist, an oceanographer and many more careers. It will depend on your keen interest and what area you want to go in once you have qualified with a chemistry degree.

You will need to have a technical mind to study and work in a Chemistry environment. You will be required to study and investigate matters and draw conclusions and solutions to your studies and enjoy experimenting and looking at how different materials behave and interact with each other under different conditions.

As a Chemistry expert you will need to have an enquiring mind and have a keen interest in technology. You will need to be a good communicator both written and orally to explain your findings to people.

Chemistry Personal Statement Example

I am a degree qualified Chemistry professional with a keen interest in working with different materials and experimenting with these to see how the interact with each other. I am keen at testing new materials and making observations and writing reports regarding the results that I find.

I am a technically minded person who works in a methodical and logical manner and someone who enjoys working with numbers and figures. I enjoy problem solving and studying things. I have a very patient manner and like to get to the bottom of things without giving up.

I am a dedicated professional true to my career choice. I enjoy working with others as well as on my own initiative. I am self motivated and hard working and enjoy being able to analyse the data and information that I find from my researching and testing.
