So far during 2013/14 financial year Sainsbury's has opened almost 80 stores, broadly in line with its forecast to open two stores every week.

Simon Twigger, Sainsbury's director of convenience said, “We’re a growing business, and with that comes the need for fresh new talent and perspective. We’re open to everyone, so if you like a challenge and have a head for business and customer service – come and see what we can offer.

“Running one of our busy stores is like running your own business and if you put in the hard yards the results get noticed. The variety and potential for career progression is pretty much unrivalled.”

Good luck if you are going to apply.
