The retail giant Sainsbury's have applied for planning permissions to build the British International Helicopters terminal in Penzance, Cornwall.

It doesn't sound right when you hear Sainsbury's and helicopter terminal but the company will also be building a supermarket which will offer a park and ride service, petrol station and retail units with the creation of 400 job vacancies for jobseekers.

The project has been discussed by the Penzance Town Council already submitted to Cornwall County Council for them to make the final decision.

British International Helicopters say that they need Sainsbury's financial help for them to keep going, buying new aircrafts etc.
