Sainsburys Application Form 2013
« on: December 28, 2012, 10:19:03 PM »

Sainsburys careers and online application form in 2013.

How would you like a new career with Sainsbury’s in the New Year? Sainsbury’s is one of the leading UK supermarkets and can offer a great deal of job security and satisfaction. Working for Sainsbury’s really can suit people from all walks of life and backgrounds. From shop floor, to office positions, and everything in between such as Opticians, Pharmacists and Forecourt assistants, Sainsbury’s has as varied a range of careers as it has products.

Sainsbury’s has provided lifelong careers to many people for many years. It is one of the oldest established retailers in the UK, thanks in part to its commitment to its staff. As with many of the UK food retailers, Sainsbury’s also has an extensive side-line in financial products, so you might find yourself in more of a varied career than you first thought!! Their stores often have on site pharmacies, petrol stations and bakeries, as well as butcher and fish counters, and they also have many roles available within the head office and logistics divisions.

Sainsbury’s is committed to its staff and this is reflected in the benefits that come with a career. They offer a generous pension, along with pastoral benefits such as staff discount, reduced price days out and share scheme options. They also provide on-going training and career development options.

There is a dedicated website for Sainsbury’s careers that you can visit, with the short address of http://sainsburys.jobs/; the site contains a wealth of information about the various positions available, as well as an active search engine to find vacancies that you may wish to apply for.

The application process itself is very simple. Firstly, visit the website and use the search function to look for jobs that you might be interested in. You can also apply for in store roles by visiting the store itself and asking for an application form. You can apply for positions directly online via the Apply button on each job listing, and if successful for most posts you will be invited for an interview, which will consist of the usual formal interview questions based around the position in which you are applying for. The interview may be followed by a second interview or group task interview. There are specialist sections of the recruitment site for Graduate and Head Office positions, and these may entail further application processes dependent on the role.

A lot of people seem to be asking for application forms without reading the post in full. These are available in store or on the website.  :)
