Pay in Manchester?
« on: July 29, 2013, 11:15:52 AM »

Is the pay in Manchester lower than in other cities in the UK? Northern places are known for having less pay, but cities for higher so how does that pan out for Manchester?

You will find that wages in the North are lower than other parts of the country, particularly when you get nearer to London. I am from Liverpool, and there is a huge difference. But you also have to remember that the cost of living is much lower, too, so it all evens out in the end. The only issue would be if you were working up North commuting from elsewhere in the country.
