Hi-Tech Recruitment Fair - IT Jobs Fair London
« on: November 06, 2012, 11:07:09 AM »

On Saturday, November 10th the well-liked tech jobs fair returns for a two-day recruitment show in London
Nearly eight hundred potential jobs are on offer at the Silicon Milkroundabout event targeted at technology start-ups. This is only the fourth event since launching in 2011, but has already become a well-known fixture in the recruitment calendar.

Some of the companies attending include Mind Candy, King.com and Plumbee, as well as a number of other start-ups in fields outside of game development.

Companies will mainly be hiring for product management and design positions – product management, analytics, UX design and Growth Hacking. On Sunday, November 11th it will be engineering positions -  software engineering, web development, QA, testing and tech ops.

There are over 30 companies exhibiting on the Saturday and more than double that figure on the Sunday.
The Songkick organisers have been scouring universities to encourage graduates, but are also interested in skills from older experience, as there are senior positions on offer at the fair.

The organisers believe that one of the biggest challenges UK start-ups face is getting the most talented people to think about working for a start-up, rather than take the traditional route in a larger company.

Silicon Milkroundabout takes place at the Old Truman Brewery, T1 Space, 81 Brick Lane, London, E1 6QL.
