In everyday life, you can usually tell when somebody likes you or not. It'll be the same in your interview, if not more obvious.

If you recognise that you're doing well, don't blow it! Don't get nervous and panic, just stay calm and keep doing what you're doing, as you're obviously doing something right.

Make sure you stay friendly, as it may be your personality that's won the interviewer over. If it's your expertise, knowledge or experience, make sure you don't appear too cocky about it all and don't answer with anything that might make you look inexperienced or incapable of being a good employee.

I always believe that if someone genuinely laughs with you during an interview, it is going well. Also, having a flowing conversation with no awkward moments or silences helps.
By being prepared for an interview beforehand, you may find that it goes better than if you went in unprepared. Having an idea of interview questions or knowing some information about the interviewer or the company also helps you to impress them and bond with them.
The interview running over is an excellent sign that it is progressing well!!

somehow I don't believe all the things listed in the first post are correct, half of them are part of what the job is when you are interviewing someone, If they go through the duties of the job then that's because they want to see if you are really as interested in the job as you say you are. They Try and test you in some interviews this is to see what kind of reaction you give.
If you can have a good laugh + the interviewer is laughing with you then you may have a good chance. In some interviews it is really obvious weather you have got the job or not before they even tell you. in some interviews however it isn't so easy, the interviewer can keep a straight face with no expression which makes it quite hard to tell, if you do get a interviewer that is like this, don't panic! hold your nerve and keep calm, continue with the interview like you would any other time! :)

It is important to look at how your interview is going, but you need to ensure that you don't get too distracted from other things that are going on around you. Ultimately, you need to pay attention to the answers you're giving to the questions, as this will give you the best possible chance of being able to make a great first impression. And, if it does go wrong, don't worry. Not everything can go our way every time, and you will always be given other opportunities.

People sometimes worry if their interview overruns and takes longer than they expected. Don't worry - it's rarely going to be the issue that they've kept you longer because they don't like you.

Usually, this means that the interviewer likes you and is keeping you longer in order to ask more questions or find out more information.

This is very often a good sign, so you can expect some good news if you've had a length interview. However, there may be other people who have also had longer interviews, and this simply means that you're a close contender.

I agree, a longer interview is a good sign. Why would you want to spend more time with someone who irritates you more than a pair of tight shoes full of itching powder?

Don't be mistaken by people being warm. Sometimes, yes, being friendly is a good sign, but sometimes it can be acted rather than the truth. Look for creases around their eyes, that is a sign of a genuine smile. By reading your interviewers face, you can see how they feel about you.
If they appear to genuinely like you for the role, DO PLEASE follow up the interview the next day, just to thank them if anything. Building a good relationship from the start could profit you later if you pursued a career with the company.

Personally I have had interviews where people thanked me for attending and seemed genuinely happy about me being there, but I did not get the job. In one case, I was offered an alternative job in an area that i was not interested in working in and the other I did not hear back at all.

I think that you need to bear in mind that there will be candidates interviewed after you and so however positive it feels, it is no guarantee. However, if you feel you made a good impression, that is a great thing as even if you do not get that job, it means that you have a good chance of getting a job from another interview that you do.
