when you go over 1p on your limit its not fair to send £35 fines/charges. does it really cost £35?

since 2006 Office of Fair Trading (OFT) said stop to this unfair charges and since then consumers can reclaim their money back if they follow the instructions.

Reclaiming won’t impact your credit score, The Bank Charges test case didn't impact credit cards.
