Work History

CAD Engineer, BT, London   
Working for this large communications company it was my job to create 3D virtual tours of buildings that required installations of broadband and telephony services, so that the installation engineers would not have to physically visit the premises and could be assured of taking the correct equipment and supplies with them when they went to install. I would have to work from plans of the buildings, or photos, and create a true to life, scale version on computer.

As a CAD Engineer in this shipbuilding services company it was my job to create 3D models of ships to see where improvements could be made to the build of the engines or other mechanics, and also to the build of the ship itself.

January 2007 – January 2008

Working for this large building consultancy company it was my job to create models of buildings that were being proposed to be built, for several different factors including placement, social intrusion and pollution purposes. I would create models of the environment around and then incorporate the proposed build to demonstrate any possible improvements or problems it could create in the area. This would also assist the builders and architects in ensuring that the final build idea was plausible.
