January 2010 - Present
CAD Draughtsman, BT, London   
Working for this large communications company it was my job to create illustrations of various pieces of the technology utilised by the business to demonstrate to customers how things worked, or to assist in the training of engineers. I would have to look at a piece of equipment and either make an illustration of the item, or make a 3D composition showing how it works. This could then be distributed and would be easy to understand by most people.

January 2008- January 2010
CAD Draughtsman, Shipwright Services, London.
As a CAD Draughtsman in this shipbuilding services company it was my job to create technical drawings based on information given by my project manager. For example I might be asked to create a new idea for a hull design, and would have to create one within the given specification. I would then present the drawing to the project manager who would get a CAD Engineer to see how it would work within the larger scale of the project.

Working for this large building consultancy company it was my job to create technical plans from specifications to assist the architects in their design and planning of the building. Creating blueprints of proposed buildings meant that they could envisage the building and deal with any issues that otherwise would only show up following building the project.
