« on: May 11, 2014, 10:42:01 AM »

If you are seeking a Stores person role then you should have previous experience of working within goods in and out such as a busy warehouse or distribution centre and be experienced in organising a busy in and out system and following strict procedures including health and safety.

You will need to be able to pay attention to detail and be organised and methodical in your way of thinking to be able to logically ensure that products are in the correct locations and picked from the locations they should be.

If you are looking for a cover letter, please see the below example:

Store Person Cover Letter Example

Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for the role of Stores Person

I would like to apply for the role of Stores Person which you have advertised in (which publication/online and when).

I have had (how many years) experience of working in a busy warehouse environment. I am used to hand held scanners and uploading new deliveries and also booking these out. I have worked closely in a busy booking in and out building.

I work in a methodical and logical manner, I am very conscious of how a distribution centre should work and how products need to be scanned and in the correct locations so that it operates to maximum efficiency.

I understand how important it is to be organised and in this kind of role and I enjoy the buzz of ensuring that deliveries get sent out on time and avoid any delays ensuring the customers deliveries arrive on time.

I have good working knowledge of health and safety and always apply this in my work ethic as it is very important when a warehouse can be at times very busy and sometimes a dangerous place to work.
I am a hard worker, I like to learn new skills and I am always happy to take on new roles.

Please find enclosed my CV with covering letter, should you be interested in my skills, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely
