Media Planner Cover Letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for the role of Media Planner

I would like to apply for the role of Media Planner which I have seen advertised in (where – online, paper etc) and (when). I have enclosed my latest CV for you to see the detailed experiences I have to date.

My recent position has been working for (name) newspaper in the role of buyer so I have gained experience in both the world of media and also the role of a buyer. During my role as a buyer I have worked closely with the media planners and I have always wanted to do this kind of role.

I feel that I am very organised and think this is a quality that is needed for the role of media planner. Combined with my experience in media I think I could do the role well.
I enjoy working with others and enjoy the buzz of working in the media world, I find it exciting and challenging.  I am a confident communicator both orally and written.
My CV shows my previous experiences which I hope you will find interesting. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and CV. I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely
