The example given seems a good length to me. It is quite important to get the length of your cover letter right, as you don't want to overwhelm your potential employer with information. I think 3-4 paragraphs is more than enough.

I agree, don't overwhelm them in the cover letter, make it specific and to the point.  A long winded cover letter is more likely to put an employer off

 I think cover letter work as an first impression and it is very important to impress the recruiters to get the job interview.

Cover letter should have brief detail of yourself and your work experience.
