When writing an immediate availability cover letter, make sure you make it very clear that you are available immediately.


For a lot of companies, this is what they may be looking for and will prioritise you and others who can start straight away. This is usually the case for unemployed people who are not coming out of one job and straight into another, because they don't have to wait to finish the job they're already in.


The only difference with this kind of letter is that you're adding in that you're available to start the job whenever they require you.


A good addition to it (as I've seen further up this thread) would be to tell them that you're also available for an interview at any time.
