Dear Sir/ Madam,

I was very interested in your advertised role as a foreman and would like to be considered. I have had much experience in the construction industry previously.

The significant experience that I have in the construction industry puts me in an excellent position for foreman roles, as I understand all aspects and started from the beginning.

I have particular experience as a foreman previously. I have always been very successful at this because of my good leadership skills and excellent general knowledge of the industry. I have excellent skills all round and that makes me an excellent choice for this position. On all the projects that I have worked on as foreman, I have been described as the keystone of that project.

As part of my experience as foreman, I have also been involved with evaluating plans and also arranged for materials at the construction site.  I have also trained employees under my supervision, and been responsible for ensuring the correct usage of equipment. I have good communication skills and always report on success of projects personally.

I attach my CV which details my previous projects that I have worked on , and also my education. If you need to contact any of my references please feel free to do so. The details are all on there.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Your Name
