If you're lucky enough to have a HMV still open in your local area, they can be good employers. If you're young, and looking for your first job, you can use this job to be able to build skills that you could transfer into many other careers further down the line. Now that they have restructured their business after having to let a number of stores go, things are looking much more certain.

Has anyone here worked for HMV? I am never that happy with the customer service that I get in stores and was wondering if that is reflected by the way staff are treated. Maybe it is not a nice job to do. Can anyone let me know please?
